here is something you can do to transform your usual xp desktop into this…

   

my desktop icons is arranged horizontally. in order for you to do this is by getting a dock.

*Dock is the replacement for your Windows taskbar. It provides a hassle free access to the most used programs, while looking great. We’ll try to immitate the Mac OS X Dock. nice huh.?hehe anyways..there are a number of docks available for you to download-  mine is RocketDock

*the calendar on the left site is Rainlendar

Its a very usable and customizable desktop calendar with events, alarms and to-do list. Plus it is skinnable and has a large number of good looking skins available.so get it here.

*the expandable folder on the dock is the Stack Docklets

download it here. To use this docklet, unpack the file in the “Docklets” sub-folder inside either RocketDock or ObjectDock installation folder.tip: it’s a bit confusing to use this,but try to organize your folders first.
